Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
To qualify for PSLF, you must work for a qualifying employer. As a for-profit company, we do not qualify. Therefore, by working for our group, you will not qualify for federal loan forgiveness.

Our team consists of Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians. We do not hire Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or Mid-levels.
Employment Model
Our physicians are employed by Gates Hospitalists, LLC. We do not contract with physicians under a 1099 model.

Our physicians work as a team, sharing in all types of shifts. Please contact us if you would like to join our team.
Scheduling
Our physicians work a "Flexible Schedule" as opposed to a "7-on / 7-off Schedule".
Part-time Hospitalist at Gates Hospitalists, LLC
General
Join our Kansas City, Missouri Northland Team as a part-time Hospitalist Physician. We are an independent hospitalist group with 23 years of experience providing care to patients in the Kansas City Northland.
We are seeking a part-time physician to provide patient care at Carroll County Memorial Hospital “CCMH” and Excelsior Springs Hospital “ESH” (both critical access hospitals nearby Kansas City). If you live in the greater Kansas City area then this is the opportunity for you!
Qualifications
- Board-certified/ Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Missouri medical licensure
- Commitment to excellent patient care
Daytime Shifts (Weekdays & Weekend Days)
- 10-hour shifts (7am-5pm)
- Work 7-10 daytime shifts per month
- No night shifts
Responsibilities
Critical Access Hospitals (CCMH and ESH)
- Provide care for acute patients and swing bed patients. If patients need to be transferred, we can facilitate transfers to the Community Hospitals
- No procedures required
Compensation
- Competitive weekday and weekend rates
- Physician housing is provided at CCMH
Limitations
- We do not sponsor work Visas
- No 1099 employment available
- We are not a 501(C)(3) organization and therefore cannot offer PSLF (Student Loan Forgiveness)
- No healthcare or retirement benefits
